Demo FAQ bot

A chat assistant that answers from your own knowledge base.

Concept for "Demo Auto Service", a fictional repair shop in Thessaloniki. The bot only answers from a small admin-managed knowledge base — anything outside scope gets flagged for a human follow-up.

Not a real shop. Conversations are stored in the database so you can see how the admin reviews unanswered questions.

What it shows

Knowledge-base grounded
The bot only sees what the admin uploaded. No web browsing, no inventing prices or part availability — the system prompt pins it tightly.
Human handoff
If the question is outside scope, the bot emits a hidden marker we strip on the server, flag the message as unanswered, and surface a clear CTA to talk to a human.
Reviewable conversations
Every turn is saved with latency and token counts so the admin can spot common gaps in the KB and add answers.
Cheap and quiet
gpt-4o-mini, small context window, no streaming. A typical reply costs a fraction of a cent — sustainable for an SMB without a budget conversation.

Talk to the demo bot
